Hey Benchling Community!

It's been a pleasure to be a part of this community for the past two years. While I've mostly been a lurker, this forum has been a great source for troubleshooting, tips, tricks, and even making some friends.

A huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions. I also want to give a special shout-out to @suyog_y  (previously at SparkTx) for all his help over the years.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the community continues to grow, and I hope to see many of you at Benchtalk Boston this year!

Special shoutout @Melissa DiTucci for being an awesome community leader!

Hey folks, the Benchling Community page has been a great resource to learn about practical applications and different perspectives from other users on the platform!

I have mostly been lurking so far, but the complement to the core help articles is invaluable nonetheless.

Tagging @Melissa_McGill-Coelho.

I’ve learnt a few things about Benchling from this community - the main one being how to navigate around user permissions in the Inventory module - very grateful to those who commented and supported me with this. @Hannes has been brilliant at supporting the scientists in our ongoing implementation and adaptation of the platform.

The community helped me troubleshoot errors i had with registration table entities not being saved. @clayton

I’ve been using Benchling (neophyte user) and seeing other people’s questions and the nicely detailed responses from the community has been very helpful. We will continue to use it more extensively- thank you for being a terrific community!

I’ve learned alot about different ideas for features or ways to use existing features. I’ve also used the community to help learn ideas about how to visualize and extract data in benchling

🎉 Happy 2nd Birthday to the Benchling Community! 🧬

It’s been incredible to learn from so many talented peers over the past two years. One thing I’ve really taken away is how creative people get with configuring Benchling to meet unique workflow needs — especially around automation and permissions. Just knowing others have solved similar challenges has saved me a ton of time and trial-and-error.

Big thanks to everyone who shares tips, answers questions, and keeps the good vibes going!

Tagging my awesome colleague @Meghna Irimpen to join the celebration too 🎈
(P.S. Just updated my profile photo for the occasion 😄)

Hi everyone! I got a lot of useful information about the AI capabilities in Benchling from this community and it’s been super helpful with notebook entries so far. Tagging my boss @echong since she’s helped me become the Benchling user I am today! She was the master of the data structure.

🎉 Happy 2nd Birthday to the Benchling Community!
I’ve picked up helpful tips on user permissions, data visualization, and troubleshooting issues. All thanks to the shared knowledge here.

Happy Birthday to Benchling and our favorite mascot Jeffy P! I learned how to add collaborators, and have since been teaching the rest of my lab how to do it. We’ve been dragging our feet implementing ELNs and this feature has definitely helped people get on board. tagging @yec885 since she’s my benchling buddy.

The Benchling Community has been an absolute lifesaver for getting useful and almost essential information on using Benchling to its fullest and getting great ideas on how to implement features! It’s also been such a great avenue to see others having the same experiences and feedback while having such a responsive and proactive approach from Benchling to ensuring that feedback is taken seriously for iterative improvements.

I have learned a lot about the small workings of Benchling from this community! There’s small things that get in my way in Benchling, but talking with people about it helps me learn so much about it all! @CrystalBross

Longtime lurker here! I love using the community to see updates on new features like image annotations and to see what troubleshooting advice is going around. Shoutout to @ron_yadin for always pushing me to explore more :)

I’ve already got a plushie, although it was quickly claimed by my roommate…

I've learned a lot about the diversity of features that Benchling offers, which has helped me better organize my data. @sophie.li is a great colleague who has helped me use Benchling as well!

Hi! The community has helped me better implement features I didn’t know how to use before, like templates. @hchung

I have loved the troubleshooting and feature suggestion forums on the community!! I have learned a lot of truly invaluable inventory/registry tricks from fellow lab based Benchling users here

Tagging former coworker @jhuang who invited me!

I like searching the community forums for specific topics to get more insight than the help pages provide (e.g. all the different ways of managing permissions), and like to browse just to see what other people are trying to do, which sometimes leads me to features I wasn’t aware of. Thanks @kaitlyn.rauch12 for the tag!
