Hi Benchling Community,Thank you for your incredible enthusiasm for the Benchling Community. We’re not even a year into this journey, and we have over 330 ideas and nearly 2,000 discussion posts. It’s amazing! One of my favorite parts of this job is hearing feedback directly from our customers. Sure, it’s lovely to hear what we’re doing right, but it’s invaluable to have folks who will tell you where you have missed the mark or where you need to do more. That’s why I’ve been such a huge proponent of building Community at Benchling. 1000 row structured tables are now in limited availability

We’ve taken steps to improve the Notebook experience by increasing table limits and in doing this we have also been able to improve the table display, performance, navigation, and export functionality in the Notebook. Here’s a look at what’s new:  Table limits are increasing from 500 rows to 1,000 rows Rows are added with an Add row button that has a numeric input field Tables have a fixed width and height to keep content structured and readable Table adjust to fit more data while staying easy to navigate, a scroll bar appears when tables exceed a certain height so you can browse without resizing, and you can scroll past tables smoothly without minimizing them Tables exceeding 500 rows will be exported as attached CSV files Large tables will be rendered as collapsed tables with the table name visible when you export an entry as a PDF The updates that are being introduced are currently in limited availability (LA), if you’d like to opt-in to using this feature while it is in LA, please

New product idea responses: Your questions answered!

Hi everyone, happy Friday!You might have noticed some of your ideas getting replies recently from our awesome product team! We've been hearing some questions around about this process, so I wanted to hop in to address those and open up the conversation for other questions. Why did the status change on my idea without a response from the product team? Don't worry! The product team always responds to your idea before we tweak the status. It will appear as two separate messages because only community admins like myself and @Melissa DiTucci are able to adjust statuses. Just scroll up a bit to find the product manager's response. Oh, and heads-up: you might not see the Benchling Logo / JeffyP next to their name, but a quick hover over their picture will reveal their role. My idea didn’t get a response. Why? Hang tight! Once your idea hits the minimum voting threshold (which we've set at 25 votes for now), our Benchling Product team will dive in and give it their two cents. Good news, howe
